Radar Tip Of The Day 72: Acid Glasses

You could pick out all kinds of disparate influences from the wonderfully named Acid Glasses. Me, I'm gonna go with: Madlib, Luke Steele, Pepper-era Beatles, Lee Perry, The Cure and anything from the wackier, dreamier end of the Brian Wilson's noggin.

It's a rich tapestry of sound - cut up, mashed together, ill-fitting and sometimes very sublime indeed.

That song, called 'My Pale Garden', is out on 7-inch (limited to 300 copies) via Stroll On Records on October 10. You can see Acid Glasses in the UK next month (over from Memphis) at London's ace Binnacle festival at the Old Blue Last.
