Radar Tip Of The Day 90: Novella

You've gotta love a band who have a song called 'Oh Brian', haven't you?

The three girls of Novella - Hollie Warren, Sophy Hollington, Suki Sou – are fast becoming London's most ubiquitous band, having bagged support slots with everyone from 2:54 to Dum Dum Girls recently, and their star's set to shine brighter with today's news that they'll join Gross Magic, Echo Lake and The History Of Apple Pie on a split 12" from Marshall Teller Records on December 12.

It's not bad going, since they haven't really been a functioning unit that long and still only have half a dozen or so songs. When Radar saw them at Weird Dreams' London show last week they skirted the line between cutesy kitch and sombre bitchiness, and despite only having a pretty small crowd in front of them they looked confident as fuck.
