Admittedly, Chicago's Twin Peaks did actually release 'Flavor' late last year on vinyl in it's scratchy demo form. Now, after picking up decent management following their SXSW shows in March, they've re-recorded it for National Anthem, who'll release it with three of the best tracks from last year's excellent mini-album 'Sunken' on July 7.
I've been banging on about the band for ages now, so any official release is welcome - although new album 'Wild Onion', which they've reportedly finished recording, is what's really exciting for the future. Until then, bask in 'Flavor''s rejuvenated glory and, if you're in the US, catch the band on tour with Eagullls this May.
