NME brings you the most visually stunning photography from Glastonbury festival 2010.

For more jaw-dropping, exclusive images of the 40th anniversary of the iconic event, make sure you buy this week's NME magazine, on sale this week - and don't forget to check out hundreds more photos on the internet's biggest Glastonbury photo gallery.

Performers at the British music spectacular this year included Muse, Stevie Wonder, Snoop Dogg, Vampire Weekend, Orbital, Florence And The Machine, The Dead Weather and Gorillaz, with the notoriously wet weather nowhere to be seen, instead replaced by scorching summer sun.

Around 180,000 festival goers attended the outdoor extravaganza on Worthy Farm in Somerset, England, with delighted organiser Michael Eavis declaring the June 25th – 27th get together "was a great moment for us."
