Exclusive – Watch A Painfully Funny Clip From Indie Break-up Comedy ‘Appropriate Behaviour’

Appropriate Behaviour is the acclaimed debut film from actor-writer-director Desiree Akhavan – Girls‘ Lena Dunham loved it so much, she gave Akhavan a part in the latest season of her cult HBO show. (She plays Chandra, Hannah’s not so friendly classmate at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop).

Anyway, in the Brooklyn-based Appropriate Behaviour, Akhavan stars as Shirin, a woman in her twenties struggling to move on after breaking up with Maxine (Rebecca Henderson), her first girlfriend after years of dating guys. This exclusive clip shows Shirin and her soon to be ex trying to spice up their sex life… with painfully funny results.

Appropriate Behaviour opens in UK cinemas on March 6 through Peccadillo Pictures.
