Is pretending someone liked a band they never liked considered some form of 'pwning' in your sad little world? Pathetic stuff.

Amazing first album, disappointing follow up. So you're kind of right I suppose. I don't really think of them as an 'NME band' though.

Arcade Fire definitely wins the award for the most overrated band of the decade.

Yes. other bands i think the NME ovverrates- The Hold steady, Holy ghost revival and crystal castles. Not bad bands at all, I brought Crystal castles' debut S/T and I really enjoyed it, but the others I don't think are so much worth the hype they get.

I cant understand How Anyone from a Critic to a Spastic to My Mutha could Rate them above Fleet Foxes ( Album Of The Decade ) or The Hold Steady ( Band Of The Decade ). The Hold Steady lookin' back really suprised even Myself. Consistently Great Albums - " Seperation Sunday " , " Boys & Girls In America " , " Stay Positive "- The Husker Du of The Decade. Fleet Foxes Album like The Stone Roses in The 80s , lit The Decade Up. No Nirvana in this Decade unfortunately.

It's called subjectivity, and to be honest it's really quite strange that a 40-something year old seems to have no grasp of it. I'd pick Arcade Fire over Fleet Foxes every time, but then I guess I know fuck all, right?
