Coachella information: Why put up with flooded tents and muddy wellies when you can bask in the Californian sun? Coachella takes place over two consecutive weekends in April. It is known for the desert-like weather making Coachella arguably the antithesis of a ‘typical’ British festival. Many stay in the local city for the duration of the festival, as it located only twenty minutes outside the city; however there is also an option to camp.
This year’s headliners are LCD Soundsystem, Guns N’ Roses (who recently played their first gig with their original line up in 23 years) and Calvin Harris, who is also headlining T in the Park and Wireless. Other notable acts playing include Foals, The Last Shadow Puppets, Wolf Alice and Ice Cube – he recently teased the idea of an N.W.A. reunion happening during his set.
Unfortunately tickets are sold out, after going on sale on 6th January, unless you want to shell out over $600 for a pass including access to private dinners cooked by gourmet chefs. If this is the case, you can still buy tickets here:
