The history of Download Festival in pictures
Guns N' Roses' 2006 show at the festival was a mixed affair. Despite organisers laying on a private helicopter for Axl Rose, the band came on over an hour late and when the lead singer slipped over on water onstage he threatened to stop the show - to a chorus of boos and jeers.
