What: Forget rain-sodden trips to Butlins, May can be just as hot and sunny as the other months - you just need to hop on a plane to Barcelona - the party capital of southern Europe. The festival boasts six outdoor stages for maximum tan-while-you-mosh value, and one of the biggest auditoriums in Europe for the 'intimate' shows. Ok, a festival in the sun is fine and all, but why choose this one? Because basically it's more of a party than a festival with loads of off-site shows happening all week.
Tickets: €140 (£112) for a weekend ticket. €65 (£51) for day tickets. There isn't any camping on the site. Check the website for accommodation.
