Breakthrough band will play alongside the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Mystery Jets and Hot Chip
The festival takes place in London‘s Victoria Park on 16-18 July, and the competition to find an NME Breakthrough band to play it closes next Monday (June 7).
NME Radar Editor Jaimie Hodgson, who is a competition judge, praised the calibre of acts who have entered so far.
“We’ve so far seen a really diverse selection of really talented artists coming through the NME Breakthrough ranks, encouraged no doubt by the opportunity to be playing mainstage at one of the UK’s most acclaimed festivals,” he said. “Whittling down a final short list is going to be a tough task. “
