Mumford & Sons have been announced as headliners for Open’er Festival 2015.

The event, now in its 12th year, takes place between July 1-4, at Gdynia’s Babie Doly Military Airport, Poland. Other acts added to the line-up are Modest Mouse, Django Django, Faithless, Of Monsters And Men, Refused, and Major Lazer.

They will join previously announced headliners Kasabian, as well as St Vincent, Alt-J, Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood, Hozier, Flume, Tom Odell, Swans, Eagles of Death Metal, Jose Gonzalez and The Dumplings.

Tickets are available from the Open’er Festival website now, with a four-day ticket with camping costing €150 (£113).

In the past, Open’er festival has seen performances from Pearl Jam, Faith No More, Jack White, Blur, and Arctic Monkeys, among others. Last summer, Black Keys said Open’er had “ten times the energy” of Glastonbury after headlining the Polish event, a sentiment echoed by Alana Haim, who told the Open’er crowd: “We’ve been on tour for two years and this is the craziest crowd I’ve ever seen.”

Mumford & Sons were also announced as one of the headliners for Reading and Leeds Festival earlier this month. It was previously revealed that the band were in the studio with Arctic Monkeys and Haim producer James Ford. A source close to the band said: “It’s very early days yet, but the sessions have been going well”.

Meanwhile, Open’er will mark Modest Mouse’s first European concert since 2010. The band shared new song ‘The Best Room’ earlier this month but also delayed the release of their new album ‘Strangers to Ourselves’.
