  • International Male Solo Artist is another genre smorgasbord. In the blues-playin' hobo corner you have Seasick Steve, while Michael Bublé represents the middle-aged female contingent, Jay-Z and Eminem bring the hip-hop and Bruce Springsteen rounds it off. Pic: PA Photos

  • International Female Solo Artist will be fiercely fought this year. Rihanna is in with a good chance, but then her competition isn't too shoddy either; Shakira, Ladyhawke, Lady Gaga and Norah Jones make up the other nominees.

  • International Album features five massive LPs from the last year. Lady Gaga's ubiquitous 'The Fame' might well triumph, although she faces competition from Animal Collective's 'Merriweather Post Pavillion', Black Eyed Peas' 'The E.N.D.'. Empire Of The Sun's 'Walking On A Dream' and Jay-Z's 'The Blueprint 3'. Pic: PA Photos
