  • Maximo Park will be back in UK to play Evolution festival, June 4 in Newcastle Upon Tyne. On their tour the band from Gateshead will also play at Hop Farm festival in Tonbridge and Pukkelpop in Belgium.

  • The band will also preview their new material with a short tour this month, playing three intimate UK dates in Manchester, London and Birmingham in the days before the album's release.

  • Maximo Park will release their fourth album 'The National Health', which they recorded with Pixies and Foo Fighters producer Gil Norton, on June 11. The band said that the new album featured "quite a lot of soul-searching".
