Cult movie goddess Deschanel earned more indie points when she formed band She & Him with singer-songwriter M Ward in 2008. But moviegoers got a dose of Deschanel’s singing voice in films like Elf and (500) Days of Summer. As if she weren’t quirky enough, Deschanel also plays the banjo, ukelele and piano and is married to Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard.
