Yeah Yeah Yeahs played the opening night of their UK tour this week (April 22) at the Manchester Academy – only their third gig supporting new album 'It's Blitz!'. Wearing a pink scarf over her head which shone up fluorescently to show a spiral pattern over her face, singer Karen O stalked the stage during opener 'Heads Will Roll, setting the tone for a raucous set, which included a cover of The Cramps' 'Human Fly'.
