Cardi B pulls out of Wireless Festival following pregnancy news

Bronx rapper confirmed that she is pregnant during 'SNL' performance

Cardi B has cancelled her Wireless Festival appearance for 2018 following the news of her pregnancy.

During her Saturday Night Live performance at the weekend, Cardi publicly revealed that she is pregnant. While performing ‘Be Careful’, the camera panned out to show the rapper’s baby bump in her white gown, prompting cheers from the audience.

Following the news, Wireless Festival has now taken to Instagram to send its congratulations to Cardi, writing: “Huge news over the weekend… Unfortunately this means she won’t be performing at Wireless this year.”

It is not currently known whether Cardi will be replaced at the festival, but an additional announcement is expected on Thursday (April 12).

The Finsbury Park festival will take place from July 6-8, headlined this year by Stormzy, DJ Khaled and J Cole.

Other acts confirmed include Migos, Post Malone, Big Sean, Wiley, J Hus, Giggs, Lil Uzi Vert, Rae Sremmurd, Rick Ross and more.

Bronx rapper Cardi B released her debut studio album ‘Invasion of Privacy’, last Friday (April 6). Read the NME review here.

Last week, Cardi B denied that she’d ever had beef with Nicki Minaj – claiming that their feud had been invented online by fans that wanted the pair to clash for their own “entertainment”.
