The town of Hill Valley, made famous in 1985 movie classic Back To The Future, will be re-created in London next year as part of a huge live cinema event this summer.

Secret Cinema will re-build a version of the town in the capital so fans can interact with time-travel, switching between 1985 and the present day before watching a screening of the film, which stars Michael J Fox as Marty McFly and Christopher Lloyd as Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown.

Big name bands will perform each night after a battle of the bands contest to determine who appears live on stage while an 'Enchantment Under The Sea' prom after party will also be held at a venue near the secret location.

Speaking about the ambitious plans for the screenings, Secret Cinema founder and artistic director Fabien Riggall said: "For Secret Cinema presents Back to the Future, we will build an entire town, where audiences will live inside the world of Back to the Future. We will play heavily on the innocent dreamlike Americana world of 1955 and the nostalgic pre mobile phone world of 1985."

Secret Cinema presents Back To The Future will take place between July 24- August 10, and tickets go on sale today, Wednesday, June 4 from the Secret Cinema website.
