The trailer for A.C.O.D, the forthcoming comedy starring Parks And Recreation's Adam Scott, has been released. Scroll down and click 'play' to watch it.

The film's name is an abbreviation for Adult Children of Divorce. Scott stars as Carter, a man who discovers he was the unknowing subject of a study about children of divorce, and is now being sought for a follow-up study.

Glee's Jane Lynch co-stars as the doctor behind both studies, while Richard Jenkins and Catherine O'Hara play Carter's feuding parents and Jessica Alba appears as Carter's love interest Michelle. The cast also includes Scott's Parks And Recreation comrade Amy Poehler, who plays the new wife of Carter's father.

A.C.O.D. premiered at the Sundance Festival earlier this year (2013) to generally positive reviews and will open in US cinemas on October 4. However, a UK release date has yet to be confirmed.

In the meantime, Scott and Poehler will both be back for the forthcoming sixth season of Parks And Recreation, which begins on US network NBC on September 26. The season premiere will be an hour-long special set in London featuring guest appearances from Heidi Klum and Happy Days legend Henry Winkler.

Earlier this month (August) it was revealed that two major cast members are to leave the show midway through the new season.
