Bateman, Day and Sudeikis sign on for 'Horrible Bosses 2'
Meanwhile, Jamie Foxx is in talks to return as Motherfucker Jones
Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis have all signed deals to return for Horrible Bosses 2.
Meanwhile, Jamie Foxx is "in negotiations" to reprise his scene-stealing role as self-styled "murder consultant" Motherfucker Jones, The Hollywood Reporter reveals.
Released in 2011, Horrible Bosses starred Bateman, Day and Sudeikis as a trio of harassed employees who team up to murder each others' managers, played by Kevin Spacey, Colin Farrell and Jennifer Aniston. Made for a modest $35 million (£23 million), the hit comedy went on to gross $209 million (£140 million) worldwide.
Horrible Bosses 2 will feature a brand new set of bosses, The Hollywood Reporter notes, but Spacey and Aniston could make cameos. However, Farrell's character would be unlikely to return.
The sequel has a script by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, who penned the original Horrible Bosses with a third screenwriter, Michael Markowitz. Seth Gordon is returning as director and filming is expected to begin late this summer.
