'Bond 23' to be called 'Skyfall'?

Upcoming 007 film scheduled for an October 2012 release

'Bond 23' to be called 'Skyfall'?

The 23rd James Bond film is rumoured to be called Skyfall.

Sony Pictures registered 'www.Sky-FallMovie.com' and a series of phrases related to Skyfall in August, while a brand protection company with close ties to Sony registered 15 different URLs featuring combinations of 'James Bond' and 'Skyfall' on October 3.

Neither Sony Pictures or EON Productions, producers of the 007 franchise, have made any comment on the forthcoming film's title, but with a James Bond 23 release date already confirmed for October 26, 2012, an official announcement can't be far off.

Writer Peter Morgan recently revealed many changes have recently been made to the Bond 23 screenplay, but suggested his original story concept remains.

Adele has apparently written a track for the film, but again, no official announcement has been made about a theme song for the Sam Mendes-directed film.

Daniel Craig and Judi Dench will return as Bond and M respectively, while Ralph Fiennes, Javier Bardem and Bérénice Marlohe are expected to be cast.
