Channel 4 releases trailer for last ever episode of 'The IT Crowd' - watch
Office-set sitcom is returning for one-off finale this Friday (September 27)
Channel 4 has released a trailer for the last ever episode of The IT Crowd. Watch it below.
Created by Graham Linehan, one half of the duo behind Father Ted, the office-set sitcom debuted on Channel 4 in 2006 and ran for four series. In May of this year Linehan announced he had locked down plans to revive the show for a special one-off finale and filming got underway later that month.
Original stars Chris O'Dowd, Richard Ayoade, Katherine Parkinson and Matt Berry have all returned for the final episode, which is set to air this Friday (September 27) at 9pm.
The last episode will have a slightly longer 40-minute running time and Linehan apparently wrote the script over a year ago, but filming was held up by the cast members' busy schedules.
Since the last series of the The IT Crowd, O'Dowd has appeared in Hollywood comedies such as Bridesmaids and This Is 40 and Ayoade directed hit British indie flick Submarine and forthcoming dark comedy film The Double - watch the trailer here. Meanwhile, Parkinson has appeared in Sherlock and Berry recently guested on an episode of Portlandia.
