Chloe Moretz joins Tim Burton's 'Dark Shadows' cast
'Kick-Ass' star will appear alongside Michelle Pfeiffer and Johnny Depp
Chloe Moretz is set to join the cast of Tim Burton's forthcoming Dark Shadows film. The young star, who found acclaim playing the gun-toting Hit Girl in Kick-Ass, is now in advanced talks to join Burton's drama for Warners Brothers.
The movie is based on the 1960s TV soap of the same name.
Moretz is set to play Carolyn, the daughter of Elizabeth Collins Stoddard, played by Michelle Pfeiffer, reports Deadline.com. The Collins family live in the Collinwood Mansion, where the supernatural saga unfolds.
Dark Shadows is also set to star longtime Burton collaborator Johnny Depp. British actor Michael Sheen and former Bond girl Eva Green are also set to feature.
The film is expected to come out next year.
