Danny Dyer is to sit in dictionary corner on Channel 4's new mash-up series 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown.
The actor will team up with Countdown's words whizz Susie Dent on the first episode of the comedy mash-up quiz, which airs on July 20.
8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown was originally created for Channel 4's "mash-up night" in January 2012 and the channel has now ordered six full episodes.8 Out Of 10 Cats' Jimmy Carr will host the beloved words and numbers quiz while team captains Sean Lock and Jon Richardson compete against each other.
They'll be joined by different celebrity guests in each episode, with Jack Dee, Jason Manford and Sarah Millican all set to appear. Dent will also get a different special guest partner in each episode.
Dictionary corner is the third new assignment for Dyer in recent weeks after the actor was cast in the next series of Hollyoaks Later and an upcoming British action film called Assassin.
