David Hasselhoff has unveiled a new song called 'Thirsty For Love' in an incredibly cheesy US TV advert. Scroll down and click 'play' to see for yourself.
Hasselhoff tears into the soft rock banger in an advert for Cumberland Farm's Farmhouse Blend iced coffee drink. "Farmhouse Blend I'm gonna pick you up, in the hot summer sun I'm gonna sip you up," he sings. "When you touch my lips, my heart just flips."
In the minute-long advert, Hasselhoff is seen paragliding, surfing and riding a jet ski. The singer/actor, dressed all in white, also shows off some dance moves on the beach and gets temperatures rising by baring his famous chest.
Though best known in the UK as the star of Knight Rider and Baywatch, Hasselhoff has enjoyed a successful singing career in mainland Europe over the years. In 2006, a 'Get Hasselhoff To Number One' campaign came close to succeeding, with his single 'Jump In My Car' climbing as high as Number Three on the UK Singles Chart.
Hasselhoff, never afraid of embracing his own kitsch appeal, previously starred in a UK TV ad campaign for Pipex Broadband in which he was billed as "King of the internet". "Don't Hassel The Hoff" T-shirts are available from his official website priced at £15.
