David Tennant marries former 'Doctor Who' co-star Georgia Moffett
Onscreen father-daughter tie the knot in London
David Tennant married his former Doctor Who co-star Georgia Moffett in London yesterday (December 31). The couple, who have an eight-month-old daughter, tied the knot at an undisclosed location in the capital in front of close friends and family, reports the Sunday Mirror.
Newspaper sources have said the couple were keen to keep details of the low-key ceremony under wraps.
The pair met when Moffett played the daughter of tenth Doctor Tennant in a 2008 episode of the hit BBC sci-fi show. In the episode, titled 'The Doctor's Daughter', Moffett's character Jenny is created from a tissue sample from the Doctor's hand.
Coincidentally, Moffett is also the real-life daughter of Peter Davison, who played the fifth incarnation of the Doctor in the early 1980s.
Tennant took a number of stage, screen and TV roles last year, including appearances in The Decoy Bride and Fright Night.
Meanwhile, Moffett appeared in BBC Three sitcom White Van Man last year and has also had roles in Casualty, Merlin and Thorne: Sleepyhead in recent years.
