Edgar Wright to work with Simon Pegg again

Director talks about plans with 'Hot Fuzz' star

Edgar Wright to work with Simon Pegg again

Edgar Wright has told NME that he is set to work with Hot Fuzz and Shaun Of The Dead star Simon Pegg again. Wright, who has directed promos for The 80s Matchbox B-Line Disaster, Mint Royale and The Bluetones as well as his film work, also announced that he would like to make more music videos.

The director explained, "We have plans to do something else together again, we just need to sit down and write it," before joking: "I can’t remember his name though, Scotty Pegg I think”.

On his work with artists on promos the Scott Pilgrim Vs The World director revealed "I love doing music videos", but finds it difficult because of the lack of money.

Wright said: "There’s definitely a freedom in music videos, they become very avant-garde in a way because there’s basically no budget any more. People making them have to figure out how to be very creative on no money. It’s a tricky thing to find six weeks to do it for free, essentially. But I love doing them, I’d like to do more.”
