Ewan McGregor and Emily Blunt start filming on 'Salmon Fishing In The Yemen'
Production shooting on location in London
Ewan McGregor, Emily Blunt and Kristen Scott Thomas have started filming an adaptation of Paul Torday's novel Salmon Fishing In The Yemen in London. Coming into their second week of filming, the cast and crew were on location near Downing Street yesterday (August 19), while this morning they took over the Millennium Bridge for scenes.
Directed by Lasse Hallström, Salmon Fishing In The Yemen is a romantic comedy about a middle-aged government scientist named Dr Alfred Jones who is given the impossible task of introducing salmon into the Yemen. Although Dr Jones refuses to be involved, British politicians pressure him into taking on the project.
Salmon Fishing In The Yemen is due for a 2012 release.
