Fan-made preview of 'The Hobbit' appears online - watch

A fan-made trailer for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey has appeared online, edited together from all the footage that has been released so far. Scroll down and click to watch.

The mini-'preview' is made up from the film's various trailers and TV spots already online and gives a more chronological order to everything released so far. Despite the length of the trailer there are very few spoilers, with the footage focusing more on how the film starts rather than any major plot lines.

Directed by Peter Jackson and set before The Lord Of The Rings trilogy, The Hobbit stars Martin Freeman as a young Bilbo Baggins as he goes off on his first great adventure with Gandalf to help the dwarfs reclaim their homeland.

Sir Ian McKellen, Hugo Weaving and Cate Blanchett will all be reprising their Lord Of The Rings’ roles, alongside a host of newcomers including Richard Armitage, Benedict Cumberbatch and Lee Pace.

It has also been recently announced that The Hobbit will be split into three films; An Unexpected Journey, The Desolation of Smaug and There and Back Again with The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey hitting UK cinemas on 13 December.
