The first clip from the Steve Jobs biopic starring Ashton Kutcher has appeared online. Scroll down and click 'play' to watch it.
Titled jOBS, the film is set to premiere at the Sundance festival in Utah later today (January 25). In this minute-long teaser, Kutcher's Jobs tries to convince his Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, played by Josh Gad, that they may have changed computing forever.
The film is billed as "the story of Steve Jobs' ascension from college dropout into one of the most revered creative entrepreneurs of the 20th century". It follows the late Apple CEO over three decades from 1971 to 2000. Jobs died in October 2011 of complications arising from pancreatic cancer.
Director Joshua Michael Stern shot part of the film in the historic garage in Palo Alto, California where Jobs and Wozniak started Apple in 1976. The film's script was penned by newbie screenwriter Matt Whiteley.
jOBS opens in US cinemas on April 19, but the UK release date has yet to confirmed. Meanwhile, The West Wing's Aaron Sorkin is writing a rival Jobs movie based on Walter Isaacson's bestselling biography.
