The movie is the acclaimed director Alfonso Cuarón's first feature film since 2006's Children Of Men and stars. The script was co-written with his son Jonás Curón.

Meanwhile, George Clooney's other 2013 film is The Monuments Men, which he directs and stars in. The film is about an allied group tasked with saving priceless pieces of art from destruction at the hands of Hitler during World War 2 and stars Daniel Craig, Bill Murray, Cate Blanchett, John Goodman, Hugh Bonneville and The Artist's Jean Dujardin.

Gravity will open in UK cinemas on October 4 and will be available in 2D, 3D and IMAX.
