First trailer for Alfonso Cuarón's 'Gravity' appears online – watch
New Sci-fi drama stars George Clooney and Sandra Bullock
The first trailer for Alfonso Cuarón's Gravity has appeared online – you can watch the action-packed clip by scrolling down and clicking 'play'.
The sci-fi thriller sees George Clooney and Sandra Bullock take on the role of two astronauts who become stranded in space on a damaged vessel after their space station is destroyed. The film details their attempts to get back to Earth and it's been said that the majority of the story will focus on Bullock's medical engineer character.
In the action-packed promo clip we get a first look at the perilous situation the pair find themselves in, after a huge explosion destroys their shuttle, sending them spinning into the darkness of space.
The movie is the acclaimed director Alfonso Cuarón's first feature film since 2006's Children Of Men and stars. The script was co-written with his son Jonás Curón.
Meanwhile, George Clooney's other 2013 film is The Monuments Men, which he directs and stars in. The film is about an allied group tasked with saving priceless pieces of art from destruction at the hands of Hitler during World War 2 and stars Daniel Craig, Bill Murray, Cate Blanchett, John Goodman, Hugh Bonneville and The Artist's Jean Dujardin.
Gravity will open in UK cinemas on October 4 and will be available in 2D, 3D and IMAX.
