'Friends' stars Courteney Cox and Matthew Perry to reunite on US sitcom
Cox will make a guest appearance in Perry's new show 'Go On' this April
Friends stars Courteney Cox and Matthew Perry - aka Monica and Chandler - are to reunite on an episode of Perry's new show.
Perry is now starring as Ryan King, a radio presenter struggling to deal with the death of his wife, in a new US sitcom called Go On. The series premiered back in September (2012) and a full season of 22 episodes has since been ordered.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cox will make a guest appearance in an episode due to air in the US this April. In a bid to revive the old Monica-Chandler chemistry, she will apparently play a character who gets set up with Perry's Ryan King.
It will be the first time Cox and Perry have appeared on TV together since Friends ended in 2004. However, Cox has enjoyed mini-reunions with other members of the cast over the years. She has made several guest appearances on Lisa Kudrow's new show Web Therapy and persuaded Jennifer Aniston to make cameos in both of her post-Friends sitcoms, Dirt and Cougar Town.
Cougar Town is now into its fourth season and airs in the UK on the Sky Living channel. Go On has yet to be snapped up by a British broadcaster.
