'Game Of Thrones' actress Maisie Williams on Arya Stark: 'She's losing that lovableness about her'
Williams says character is 'completely different' to when she first started
Game Of Thrones actress Maisie Williams has said that her character, Arya Stark, is "completely different" to when the show began.
Williams has played Stark, the tomboy daughter of Ned Stark, since the start of the HBO show and has seen her character forced to endure a number of traumatic events. Speaking to Total Film, Williams said the various different plots Arya has been involved in has forced her to lose her "lovableness".
"I feel like I'm playing a completely different Arya to the one I auditioned with," she said. "She was constantly taking the piss out of [sister] Sansa, having a laugh and telling it as it is."
She added: "Now I feel that's stripped away and it progresses in Season 4. She's slowly losing that loveableness about her and turning into something quite different."
It was revealed earlier this month that Game Of Thrones has been renewed for a further two seasons. The show, which is adapted from George RR Martin's series of fantasy novels A Song Of Ice And Fire, has been a huge hit since premiering in 2011 and has won numerous television gongs including Golden Globes, Baftas and Emmys.
