The mock credits set clips from the HBO fantasy series to 'I'll Be There For You', the famous Friends theme tune by The Rembrandts. Released as a single in 1995, the track peaked at Number Three on the UK singles chart.
Meanwhile, the distinctive Friends font is used to spotlight key members of the Game Of Thrones cast, including Sean Bean and Peter Dinklage. Since appearing online this Sunday (April 21), the spoof opening sequence has already racked up over 400,000 views.
The third season of Game Of Thrones kicked off on SkyAtlantic on April 1 and is now coming up to its fifth episode. The show has already been renewed for a fourth season.
Friends ended its ten-year run in 2004 after a whopping 236 episodes. Matt LeBlanc later got his own spin-off show, Joey, but it was cancelled after two seasons.
