George Clooney and Angelina Jolie to play Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe
New film is based on novel by Andrew O'Hagan
George Clooney and Angelina Jolie are being lined up to play Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe in an upcoming film. The Life And Opinions Of Maf The Dog, And Of His Friend, Marilyn Monroe, set for release in December, will be an adaptation of the Andrew O'Hagan novel, reports thetimes.co.uk.
The novel is treated as a biography about Monroe, told through the eyes of Mafia Honey, a Maltese poodle who Sinatra gave to the actress as a present.
O'Hagan announced the novel and film over the weekend at the Edinburgh International Book Festival, mentioning that the film will go into production in the near future.
A director has not been announced yet.
