'Girls' season two trailer hits the internet – watch
The second series of Lena Dunham's show debuts in January in North America
The trailer for season two of Girls has been unveiled.
The trailer for the new series of the Lena Dunham-scripted and directed comedy features a cameo from Donald Glover – also known as rapper Childish Gambino.
It features Dunham's character Hannah after breaking up with her boyfriend Adam and his attempts to win her back. Scroll down to watch the trailer.
The new series will premiere in the US on January 13, 2013 and continue to follow the exploits of Hannah and her twentysomething friends, Shoshana, Marnie and Jessa.
Brit actor Chris O'Dowd is also set to return in the new series as Jessa's husband, Thomas John.
The first season of the New York City-set show, which is executive produced by Judd Apatow, started broadcasting in the UK in October after airing on HBO in North America in April, earning its 26 year old star, Dunham, four Emmy nominations.
In October, Dunham signed a $3.5 million publishing deal for an essay collection entitled Not That Kind of Girl: A Young Woman Tells You What She's Learned.
