Last year Justin Timberlake and Emma Stone were named favourites to star in the new version of Dirty Dancing.
Bookmakers across the UK threw their hats into the ring regarding the casting for the remake of the classic '80s film and for the role of Frances 'Baby' Houseman, Easy A and Superbad actress Emma Stone was touted to lead at 5/1. Julia Robert's niece, and Scream 4 actress, Emma Roberts was joint second with Glee actress Lea Michele at 8/1.
The original Dirty Dancing told the story of a young girl's sexual awakening at the hands of her dance instructor, much to the annoyance of her wealthy family. The remake is set for release on July 26, 2013.
