Harrison Ford calls Chewbacca a 'sack of shit' on US chat show – watch

Star Wars actor Harrison Ford called Chewbacca a "sack of shit" during a humorous interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! - scroll down and click 'play' to watch.

Ford was despondent regarding Kimmel's attempts to talk about the forthcoming new Star Wars movies, and he made it clear that he did not want to answer any questions on the matter.

However, the US chat show host handed the questioning over to audience members – actors dressed as Star Wars characters including Obi-Wan Kenobi and Princess Leia – who asked non-Star Wars related questions such as, "Do you like being in movies?"

Ford was then not happy to see from his old pal Chewbacca, and called him a "son of a bitch" when he stood up to ask a question. The Hollywood actor then hinted that the Wookie had an affair with his wife and called him a "sack of shit".

Last month (March), Ford spoke about his Star Wars return for the first time, making clear that nothing is official yet. He told WGNTV: "I think it's almost true. I'm looking forward to it. It's not in the bag yet, but I think it's happening."

It was reported in 2012 that Ford had signed on to reprise his iconic role as Han Solo in Star Wars: Episode VII. George Lucas has since let slip that Ford and his '70s co-stars Carrie Fisher and Mark Fisher were "pretty much" signed to the new Star Wars movie before he sold Lucasfilm to Disney.

The new Star Wars movie is being helmed by JJ Abrams, director of this year's Star Trek Into Darkness and co-creator of Lost. Toy Story 3 writer Michael Arndt has been hired to pen the script and Disney is aiming for a 2015 release.
