The 'Love Actually' actor announces the birth of his son on Twitter

Hugh Grant has become a dad for the second time.

The Four Weddings And A Funeral actor announced the birth of his son on Twitter yesterday (February 16). The child is his second to Tinglan Hong, who gave birth to their daughter, Tabitha, in 2011.

He tweeted:

In answer to some journos. Am thrilled my daughter now has a brother.Adore them both to an uncool degree. They have a fab mum.

Grant made the announcement on Twitter after journalists questioned him about the birth of the child. He later wrote "And to be crystal clear. I am the Daddy," before adding: "Thanks for v kind messages. Now I've confirmed (press somehow got birth certificate & were calling), hoping my family will be left in peace."

The British actor can next be seen playing a killer, cannibal and a rapist in Cloud Atlas, the upcoming sci-fi/fantasy epic from Lana and Andy Wachowski, the creators of The Matrix. The film, which stars Halle Berry and Tom Hanks, is released in the UK on February 26. You can watch the film's trailer below.
