"Harry is done now"

J.K. Rowling has revealed that there will be no more Harry Potter stories.

The author of the hugely successful series made her announcement at the premiere of the two-part play ‘Harry Potter And The Cursed Child’ at London’s Palace Theatre this weekend.

When asked if fans could look forward to more stories following the play, Rowling answered “No, no,” Reuters reports.

Set 19 years after ‘Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows’, ‘The Cursed Child’ follows Potter as a 37-year-old with three kids.

“He goes on a very big journey during these two plays,” Rowling told the press. “I think we’re done. This is the next generation, you know,” Rowling continued, “so, I’m thrilled to see it realised so beautifully, but no, Harry is done now.”

Those still seeking a Harry Potter fix should look to the creators of Pokemon Go, who are developing a Harry Potter version of the game.

Niantic have announced that they will be making Harry Potter Go following the success of their Pokémon game.

Since over 15 million users worldwide have downloaded Pokémon Go, fans of the J.K. Rowling books and films have been petitioning Warner Bros to create a Harry Potter game.

Hello Giggles reports that Niantic’s senior developer Marcus Figueroa said the company had decided to create the game as “the demand for this title was absolutely insane, so we figured we’d give it a shot.”
