Jaden Smith to star in M Night Shyamalan's new film
Will Smith's son has been cast in 'One Thousand AE'
Director M Night Shyamalan has cast Will Smith's son Jaden in his new sci-fi film One Thousand AE. The film is being overseen by Will as a starring vehicle for the young Karate Kid star. The Book Of Eli’s Gary Whitta is writing the script.
Jaden told Entertainment Weekly magazine: "We're reading the script right now. I don’t want to give it away because that wouldn’t be right, but it’s set in the future and it’s about a journey."
He also said that Sony are "talking about" the idea of a sequel to his Karate Kid reboot from earlier this year.
The actor also revealed that he's considering a script Disney recently bought named Monster Witness Relocation Program, and a graphic novel series adaptation named Amulet, which his sister Willow is also attached to.
