The sci-fi movie was directed by Moon director Duncan Jones, son of David Bowie.
Gyllenhaal plays opposite Michelle Monaghan as decorated soldier Captain Colter Stevens. His character's life is rocked when he wakes up in the body of an unknown man.
He goes on to discover that he is part of a mission to find the bomber of a Chicago commuter train. In an assignment unlike he has ever known, he learns he is part of a government experiment known as 'source code' – a program that allows him to cross into another man's identity in the last eight minutes of his life.
Source Code co-stars Vera Farmiga and Jeffrey Wright. It is set for release on April 1.
