Jason Ritter to guest star in 'Girls'
'Parenthood' actor will appear in fourth season
It has been confirmed that Jason Ritter will guest star in the next season of Girls.
The actor, best known for playing Mark in Parenthood, will appear in the fourth season of Lena Dunham's hit show.
Details of his character have yet to be revealed but TV Line reports that he will play a character named Scott and will appear on the sixth episode the upcoming season.
Ritter joins an ever-growing list of names who will appear in the fourth season of the HBO show, which is shown on Sky Atlantic in the UK. Former Community star Gillian Jacobs has also joined the cast while it was previously revealed that Desiree Akhavan and Peter Mark Kendall will play at students the Iowa Writers' Workshop where Dunham's character Hannah Hovarth is set to study.
Meanwhile, HBO have confirmed that Adam Driver will feature in the next season of Girls, despite the fact he has joined the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII.
The fourth season of Girls is due to air in 2015.
