Johnny Depp sued over 'concert fracas'
Plaintiff alleges security around actor 'roughed her up' at Iggy Pop gig
Johnny Depp and the Hollywood Palladium are being sued by a disabled woman after an altercation at an Iggy Pop concert. The 52-year old claims that during a concert last Decemeber, the Pirates of the Carribbean actor and his entourage quarrelled with her as she tried to return to her seat in the VIP section of The Stooges frontman's show.
According to The Hollywood Reporter the plaintiff is suing for unspecified damages. She claims to have endured a dislocated elbow, bleeding, swelling and "possibly broken bones".
The woman also alleges that when security attempted to drag her away they took her mobile phone and pulled down her trousers "exposing her buttocks to the other Hollywood Palladium theatre patrons".
TMZ reports that Los Angeles police found the woman to be highly intoxicated at the time of filing the report and insist that she has been "less than cooperative".
The lawsuit was filed by Beverley Hills attorneys Marvin Louis Wolf and Sepehr Daghighian and alleges 12 counts including negligence, premises liability, assault, false imprisonment and discriminatory practices.
Johnny Depp's next big screen outing is in Dark Shadows, where he will once again be directed by Tim Burton. The film is due out May 11.
