'Jupiter Ascending' release delayed until 2015

Sci-fi film from the team behind 'The Matrix' stars Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis

The release of Jupiter Ascending has been pushed back to 2015, it has been confirmed.

The sc-fi movie from Matrix directors Lana and Andy Wachowski was due for release next month (July) but studio bosses at Warner Bros have announced that the film will now arrive early next year.

The Hollywood Reporter suggests this may be to do with the special effects on the film not being finished on time for the summer 2014 release.

The film stars Mila Kunis as a cleaner who discovers she is destined to rule the universe and Channing Tatum as a genetically-engineered bounty hunter determined to track her down and help her.

Sean Bean, Eddie Redmayne, Doona Bae, Tim Pigott-Smith, James D'Arcy, Tuppence Middleton and Douglas Booth will co-star in the picture. See below to watch a trailer now.
