Justin Timberlake becomes Ben Affleck's partner in crime in 'Runner, Runner' trailer - watch

A new trailer for Runner, Runner starring Justin Timberlake and Ben Affleck has been released. Watch it below.

Timberlake plays Richie Furst, a college student who blows his tuition money playing online poker and jets to Costa Rica to confront the owner of the website that, he believes, conned him out of his money. However, the online gambling tycoon, Ivan Block, played by Affleck, instead manages to turn Furst into his protégé with the promise of immense wealth.

Timberlake's Furst then faces competing pressures from his demanding new boss and the FBI, who want to use him to help bring down Affleck's corrupt tycoon. The film's supporting cast includes Gemma Arterton, who plays the girlfriend of Timberlake's character, as well as Anthony Mackie and Nashville's Sam Palladio.

Runner, Runner was directed by Brad Furman (The Lincoln Lawyer) from a script by Ocean's Thirteen duo Brian Koppelman and David Levien. Leonardo DiCaprio served as a producer on the movie.

Runner, Runner opens in UK cinemas on September 27 before getting a US release a week later on October 4.
