Kirsten Dunst joins the cast of 'Hick'

Actress will co-star alongside Chloe Moretz

Kirsten Dunst joins the cast of 'Hick'

Kisten Dunst is set to star in Derick Martini's coming-of-age drama Hick. The cast already includes Let Me In child actress Chloe Moretz, with Dunst set to play a character named Glenda, reports The Playlist blog.

The character is a hard-living drifter who takes Luli (Moretz) under her wing and tries, unsuccessfully, to shield her from some of the harder aspects of life.

Hick, which Andrea Portes has adapted from her own 2007 novel, follows the misadventures of Luli, a girl who strikes out on the road when her neglectful parents leave.

Director Martini is now looking for a male lead and is planning a shoot early next year in New Mexico.
