Kristen Stewart has insisted that she and Robert Pattinson will be "fine" while promoting the final Twilight movie this autumn (2012).

The actress has kept a low profile since July (2012), when it emerged that she cheated on Pattinson, her Twilight co-star and boyfriend of two years, with British film director Rupert Sanders. Stewart later issued a public apology for her tryst, saying: "This momentary indiscretion has jeopardised the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."

Stewart has now made her first public appearance since the scandal at the Toronto International Film Festival, where she is promoting her new movie On The Road. When asked whether she found the film's press screening difficult, she told reporters: "I was a little nervous, obviously. I'm always nervous before a red carpet. To be honest, I was just kind of telling myself, like, just don't black out. Be there, don't just figuratively put your head down and barrel though it. Be there, appreciate it. Luckily, very, very much I was able to do that."

Stewart's next wave of promotional appearances will be for the final Twilight movie - potentially alongside Pattinson. When asked how she and her co-star will cope with the media glare, Stewart insisted: "We're going to be fine. We're totally fine."

The final part of the Twilight film franchise, Breaking Dawn - Part 2, is scheduled for release in the UK and the US on November 16. A new trailer for the movie has recently premiered - click here to watch it.
