Lady Gaga recovering from hip operation by watching 'Top Gear'
Mother Monster loves Jeremy Clarkson and co, says source
Lady Gaga has turned to the BBC's car-enthusiasts programme Top Gear to help her recover from her recent hip operation, according to reports.
The Sun says that the singer, who was forced to cancel the remaining dates of her 'Born This Way Ball' tour due to the injury, is a big fan of the show presented by Jeremy Clarkson and co due to their "jokey chats" and has become an avid viewer during her convalescence.
"Gaga doesn't even watch TV usually but she's always loved everything British, so she loves the jokey chats that the presenters have," said a source. "Plus she started to learn to drive last year, so she actually understands a bit about cars now. She and Taylor [Kinney, boyfriend] watch episodes most nights because she isn't ready to be out and about just yet."
In February of this year it was reported that Gaga, who joins Noel Gallagher on the list of musicians who seemingly harbour a soft spot for the programme, could lose out on up to £16m due to scrapping tour dates so she could undergo surgery for her hip injury. She is expected to release her third album, 'ARTPOP', later this year.
