Liam Neeson and Bryan Cranston to guest star on 'Family Guy'
Ashton Kutcher, Peter Dinklage and Jeff Daniels will also make appearances during new season
Liam Neeson and Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston are among the guest stars lined up for the new season of Family Guy.
Ashton Kutcher, Game Of Thrones actor Peter Dinklage and Jeff Daniels will also make appearances during the animated sitcom's 12th season, which begins on US network Fox on September 29.
Meanwhile, show runner Steve Callaghan revealed during Family Guy's panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday (July 20) that one of the show's main characters is to be killed off. However, he didn't make clear whether the death will be permanent or just for one episode.
"One special episode we have for the fall, we're going to kill off one of the Griffin family and replace them with a different character," Callaghan said.
During the panel, a trailer for season 12 of Family Guy was unveiled and you can watch it below. The new season will also see the return of Cleveland Brown to Quahog, Family Guy's fictional hometown, after his spin-off series The Cleveland Show was axed.
It's recently been confirmed that The Simpsons will be making a guest appearance on Family Guy though their episode won't air until 2014, as part of season 13.
