Man arrested in connection with naked Scarlett Johansson photos

A man has been arrested regarding the hacked naked photos of Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson as well as in connection with similar photos of starlet Vanessa Hudgens.

Christopher Chaney is also suspected of being behind more than 50 other celebrity hacking photo hacking cases, including Natalie Portman, Jessica Alba and Miley Cyrus. He was arrested today (October 12) on charges of identity theft, wiretapping and other charges.

Gossip site TMZ says that the man worked alone, hacking into the phones of famous female celebrities, and never asked for money from the third party websites that he distributed the photos to.

The FBI have revealed that the codename for the investigation was Operation Hackerazzi.

Johansson recently spoke about her “unjust” invasion of privacy to US news channel CNN.

The Lost In Translation star said:

She added that the invasion of her privacy “feels unjust. It feels wrong”.
